No moon on 2nd day of Chinese new year

Which means: (awkward translation)

I wanted to quote this part of a famous poem by Li Bai and then realized that there is no moon to be seen at this time of a lunar month according to Lunar calenda and my own observation.

Pig again

Last week's experiment was draining me dry! I didn't have energy to think of anything funny!! So I only put this old drawing on!

I made this drawing because I hate some.....
Well, this is a fashion-obsessed, brand-obsessed, manner-obsessed, form-obsessed, look-obsessed empty-minded dressed up pig lady.

A pig looks great when dressed up, wearing jewelries and behaving femininely, and it could even play lady, believe it or not.

This pig shouldn't only represent vain ladies because there are some vain boys/men out there too!

AES for Cats

There are lots of mice, with identical weight but each with different taste, running from cathode (cage) to the sample (cheese). These mice, after a good or bad meal, will run along the trajectory in the cylinder and go out of the exit to the detector (Cat).

Suppose the cheese is large enough to provide for all the running mice. In fact the mice can only consume the surface of it.

The cat then weighs each mouse, of course eat some, and make a graph of Taste(Energy)-Weight increment(counts). This graph contains the information of the sample (cheese) surface.

Organic Restaurant

This a very environment-friendly organic restaurant.

A snail is hired here as a decoration. Its job is to be here and have fun.

I would like to set the background to Japan since Japanese people are quite nice to environment in my opinion.

This is a collaboration with my excellent then-boy friend. It was found on a scratch paper date back to the summer of last year.

I thought about making a figure like this after shower when listening to Tommy February6. I made this drawing when was listening to Discovery by Daft Punk so it turned out to be a little different from the original idea. 

I enjoy turning audio entities into visual ones.

Luxurious update

This handsome and tough looking bird is a New Zealand robin (if I remembered right). He is so very good at posing that he should be the cover bird of "VOGUE AVIAN"

Thanx to David Attenborough and the interesting BBC documentary "The life of birds", especially the cameraman who is very important but always ignored by the audience (just like the air).

This is a kiwi who lives in New Zealand and have abandoned flying a long time ago so it looks like a fury ball with a bird head and 2 legs. It is now "looking" for food at night, we should better say it is smelling for food because of its sensitive nose and poor eyesight.

This is an Australian frilled lizard. "When it is threatened by its enemies, it responds by spreading the giant frill it has around its neck. But if that doesn't scare them off--

it runs away on its hind legs."

Small pig clock and the wild pig lady.
Pig year is going.
It has been a hard year for Chinese mother-to-bes because children who are born in the pig year are supposed to be extremely lucky. Hope they managed to give birth during it. Good luck to those who planned to give birth today! But according to the lunar calender, they still have two months before deadline.
Hey, can't you see that there is a very funny point in this picture?
The small pig clock is actually a biological timer bomb planted in the lady pig so it is expected to explode at a certain time. It may work perfectly well in the mechanical case but not in the biological case!

He wants a citizenship in OZ

Born with natural deficiency: perfection and evenness in every part of his body, he is excluded from the world of witches and wizards from the day of his birth. Unlike the blue blood witch downstairs, he has to strive a lot to get a citizenship in OZ or he will be limited as a magician forever.
This is one of his strategies, the photo above is going to be used for the OZ citizenship application form. In the photo, he tried to pretend that he has no ears no eyes but a girl's lip as a boy.

She's from OZ

She is a witch, very young and inexperienced, obviously. Having one arm short and one arm long is the only thing that qualifys her for witchhood.
She will have some more accomplishment and some more experience in the coming years.

When she is 400 years old and a little more accomplished,

she will go to witch university to get herself wrinkled.

When she is 500 years old and a little more accomplished,

she will go to the witch community to get a pair of mean-looking eye-brows.

When she is 600 years old and more accomplished,

she will go to the witch society to get the very long, hooked, mean-looking witch nose.

When she is 700 years old and more accomplished,

she will go to the witch union to get the witch trademark "birthmark" right on her long hooked mean-looking nose.

I am 10 posts old now, I am old enough to say "Hi" to friends and friends-to-be now.

I have learned to speak and walk, out of kindergarden, on my way to elementary school!

A spirit girl walking in the bamboo forest.
I fantasized about this all the time when I was running along "Philosopher's road" located in a small forest near "east mountain". There are several versions of this fantasy. This is one of them.
Could not waste the last drop of pink color remained on the brush, I drew this one on the edge of scratch paper, which turned out to be more stylish than the one I intended to draw.

Another parallel universe-The universe of pigs

Even with quite little odd, it happened that on this planet of this universe, pigs are the ones at the very frontier of evolution. But they are not as mobile as human in our universe so there are diversions in their appearances. Some of them are hairy some of them are hairless, decided by some naughty genetical combinations which have saught their outcome in different geographical regions.

This is a critical scene presenting the moment of this exciting encounter. Finally they met each other both quite stunned with their heads full of ideas of one another. Apparently both of the pig societies are civilized. One reads SF, the other one watches movies.

Small bird happened to be here again with......Well, this time it is hard to tell who is whose pet.

--To be honest, I like the "Mammoth version" better.

When the small pig met the wild pig, he thought: "Oh! He is so hairy with long teeth, just like the mammoth in one of the books about ancient animals, in the pig's library!"

Small bird also came to see the mammoth, with her dead dog skeleton pet, she is afraid of living dogs, you know.

--This is a funny little drawing from my excellent then-boyfriend. He is quite good at funny little drawings, I think. I found this on a piece of scratch paper together with some mathematical calculations, this morning. It was done several months ago. I should better take good care of it, it maybe easily thrown away together with other scratch paper..
